M23015Y
Amber Led clearance/marker lamp installed on RV as side marker lamp.
The photos below show a comparison of the LED lamp and the factory
installed incandescent lamp. |
| When
upgrading to LED lamps, it is important to note that auxiliary reflex
reflectors will need to be added. This is because LED lamps do not
have reflex reflectors built into the lens as most incandescent
lamp lenses do.
More information on trailer
lighting requirements can be seen on our Tips
page. |
| These
lamps have a total of 14 LEDs, 8 are mounted 90 degrees to the circuit
board, 6 are mounted at a 45 degree angle, which allow a much higher
level of visibility when viewed from the side angles - see the first
photo below.
Due to the sealed nature
of this lamp, corrosion will never be a cause for replacing lamps
or bulbs again!
|
| This model
lamp, due to its design, provides excellent forward and rearward visibility.
This photo shows the lamp when viewed from the front. Three forward
and rearward facing LEDs, which are mounted on the circuit board at
a 45 degree angle, as well as the design of the lens housing provide
this increased illumination when viewed from an angle. |

 |
| A careful
observation of these photos will show the 14 LEDs in this lamp. There
are 4 columns of three LEDs and a center column of 2 LEDs. The left
and rightmost column of LEDs are mounted to the circuit board at a
45 degree angle to enhance the forward and rear visibility. |

the front of the RV looking down the side. This photo shows the lamp
in direct sunlight. You can distinctly see each of the three forward
facing LEDs of the amber lamp. |

Front view - front light is the stock lamp, rear is the new LED

See how the fore and aft facing LEDs on the red light look like
three little "spotlights?" VERY COOL!!
